Working with Erica was a dream. As first time home buyers working with a limited budget and hoping to settle in Bergen Country, my husband and I were bracing ourselves for a very difficult house-buying experience; then we met Erica, and our dread turned to delight! Erica took the time to get to know us as people and learn what we were exactly looking for in a house. She sent us listings as soon as they went on the market, took us on countless house tours, and would even go alone to see houses she thought would be good fits for us before having us take the ride out to see them ourselves. When we were ready to make an offer, Erica advised us, explaining not only how things were done, but why - and explaining all the options we had fully and clearly. I truly believe our offer was accepted because of the good advice she gave us. Once we went into contract, Erica was on top of everything: constantly checking in with both us and the seller's agent, keeping us informed about the different steps in the process, offering guidance and support and comfort every step of the way. I can't overemphasize what Erica's knowledge, attention to detail, and kindness meant to us throughout this process. There are so many unknowns when it comes to real estate, but Erica Salk is not one of them: you know you're getting the best agent in the game when you work with Erica!
