As a commercial real estate developer and builder of many decades I've worked with my share of brokers and agents and know what to look for. When it came time to select a broker/ agent for the listing of my primary residence I interviewed six candidates for the position. While all were experienced and competent what impressed me about Gary Thompson was that he came to our initial meeting having done market research. While he had not previously listed a home in my community he knew the product type, it's competition, the buyer type, where they were likely to be moving from, how to price the home to achieve the highest sale price and more. We worked hard together to develop a winning strategy. Gary suggested certain home improvements and staging to achieve the highest sale price and had quality contractors and third party service providers each step of the way. He remained committed, engaged and professional at each step in the process. While unforseen circumstances arose during the closing process, Gary was there with knowledge and resources at each step of the way. While this is the only transaction I will likely have with Gary, his commitment to my success as a Seller has believing he would be equally competent as a Buyers agent.
