I'm not even sure where to begin with Mark Brown. I may have some bias since I've worked with him before, but I’m very careful about who I choose to work with. Whether it’s a contractor, a colleague, or someone doing work on my home, I’m always thorough. You hear so many horror stories in every industry, and real estate is no exception. One of the biggest fears people have when buying or selling a home is the amount of money involved. The barrier to entry in real estate is low, so it’s easy to end up working with someone who’s just in it for the paycheck. Mark is not that kind of realtor. He genuinely goes above and beyond for his clients, and honestly, it sets the bar so high that I feel bad for anyone else I would work with in the future, when/if he retires. He listens, he’s patient, and he never rushes your process. He’s also taken a wide range of courses, so he can offer insight into things most realtors might overlook. Whether it’s pointing out something positive about a home or flagging a potential issue that could save you money down the road, Mark always has your back. That kind of knowledge and honesty is rare. What really stands out is that he’s not just there for the transaction. Even after I closed on my first home with him, I could still call him up with questions and he always answered. He made sure I had what I needed to feel comfortable as a homeowner, long after the deal was done. I just closed on the home I bought years ago and I’m working with Mark again for the next chapter. That should tell you everything you need to know. Thank you, Mark, for always being professional, honest, and someone I can truly rely on. You're not just my realtor, you're someone I trust. Anyone that is new to the housing market, or even someone with a multitude of dealing with realtors, Mark truly is your one stop shop.

Mark Brown was very helpful throughout the process of buying my first home. When looking at homes, it was amazing how many little details he would immediately notice that I would not have picked up on, such as kitchen design flaws where cabinet drawers couldn't be opened at the same time, different kinds of plumbing and electrical work, the condition of the roof, and whether the house had original or newer windows. Mark was always on time, and he was very flexible with scheduling showings. I also appreciated that I never felt like he was pressuring me to make a sale on any particular house, or that he was trying to show me houses that I didn't want to see. He gave me the information to make an informed decision and was realistic about how quickly certain listings might last, but he was never pushy when offering an opinion on a house.

When I first met with Mark, I was not sure if I wanted to buy or rent. I even consulted with him on his opinion. Now Mark does not get paid obviously if I had chose to go the rent route, but he illustrated to be more than just a realtor looking to make a commission. Initially, unique to my specific circumstance he recommended I rent, and if I ever had any questions or needed help, to keep his contact information handy. I’ve never liked “pressure salesman” in any industry, and even right off the bat he never gave me the sense that he was that kind of person. My circumstances eventually changed and I wanted to become a home owner, and he made the process as painless as the home buying process could be, realistically. Out of all the homes we looked at, he never pressured me to buy or secure into a home. He got an idea of what I was looking for and worked with me to help finalize exactly what I needed. I’ve currently owned my home for about 2 months now, and I could not have called in love with a better home. If the house was anything less than what he believed I was looking for, he would have told me to walk away. Mark is the kind of guy who will walk with you on your house journey until the very end and even after. Anytime I’ve needed something he doesn’t hesitate to expedite his assistance. I’m sure even 10 years from now I could call him for help and he’d make sure I’m taken care of in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a realtor that wants to make a sale and he’s on to the next customer without a second thought about you, look elsewhere. Mark welcomes your friendship for a lifetime. He doesn’t do this job just to make money; he genuinely loves what he does, and the people he works with you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do as well. He’s getting up there in age, so touch base with him while you can! All jokes! Love you Mark!
