When I decided that I wanted to buy a house in Southern Virginia on some land near a lake, I began looking for a realtor. I found Kathy and immediately realized she was competent, proficient, and capable. She found the perfect house for me. There were already several offers on the table, but Kathy helped me move quickly and provided expert advice on how to make a compelling offer that would still be manageable for my budget. We won the contract. It became complicated because of issues related to the survey of the land (nothing Kathy had any control over), but she was in communication with me every day with updates, and often multiple times each day. Kathy helped me work with the lender to make sure they had what they needed, and provided me with recommendations and resources in the local area for everything I needed to make the transition. Kathy was nothing short of amazing during the entire process. She is kind, personable, extremely knowledgeable, excellent at managing people and complex situations, and most of all, I felt like she cared about me as a person as if I was part of her own family. I don’t care if it’s New York, LA, Chicago, or anywhere else, I can’t imagine there is any realtor anywhere better than Kathy. She found and helped me buy my dream house, but I also know I have made a life-long friend.
