Barb McPhail was so helpful throughout the entire process of purchasing our home, giving us the support we needed to make decisions along the way with confidence. Our situation included a long-distance move with only one of us on-site looking at houses in person with her, and she was so thoughtful in helping us through that difficult situation. She was supportive from the beginning of our home purchase journey while we learned about our mortgage options, there along the way as we chose homes to view including pointing out things to look for and asking questions on our behalf, and then when we finally found a home we wanted to purchase she helped us make the offer and guided us through the inspection and closing processes including some septic system issues the seller ended up resolving. Barb was great to view homes with, patient with our process of dealing with a limited housing market in a rural area, and an experienced knowledgeable agent to have on our side during negotiation and inspection process. We met Amy through a prior real estate encounter. While she was not our agent for that property, we were very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. After deciding to look at a different property, we called her and asked her to represent us as buyers. She was patient with all our many questions and helpful with various ideas. Throughout the entire transaction, she was actively involved and checking in with us about all the fine details. She coordinated everything we needed to do and actually made the entire process seamless. She was thoughtful to everyone, courteous to the buyers, their agent and the law office. For example, the morning of settlement, we were running about 10 minutes late as the drive from the house (where we did the final walk-through) to the office was delayed considerably due to traffic. I didn't have the where-with-all to call them, though I was anxious about being late, but she did and then texted me that she had notified them. She was thoughtful and just took care of it.
