We just closed on a new home in Winchester VA. Cynthia Butler was the real estate agent representing the builder. With that said, I felt like Cynthia was our personal realtor. As we lived Texas during the build of our new home, Cynthia kept us up to date on the build status sending us pictures on the home build progression. Cynthia also worked with us closely on option selections, answering all our questions or concerns expeditiously. Cynthia showed an abundance of knowledge about the complete build process, the remote closing process and any other concerns we had. Heather was so easy to work with especially for a first time home buyer! I had no idea what I wanted at first, except bigger and affordable. Bigger is easy enough in this market, but affordable is a challenge. Heather kept me up to date with new listings, got me in to see every place I was interested in, and when I found the right one, made sure my offer was competitive and in line with the appraisal value. My new home was a hot property and the bidding was fast and furious, but Heather was on top of it. We quickly revised my offer as the bidding heated up and were happily under contract within one day of the condominium coming on the market. She kept me on track with the walk through making sure I didn't miss the faulty dishwasher and negotiated with the seller for enough for me to replace it. No home buying story is complete without a little drama. My mortgage company approved the loan quickly, but then got snagged on some paperwork right before closing. I was worried, but Heather was there every step of the way advising and advocating for me with the mortgage company and the seller. The paperwork got completed with literally minutes to spare, and I raced to the title company. Heather was there with a giant gift bag ready to go.
