However, it was a difficult acquisition because we were trying to buy at the top of the market and the sellers had an inflated view of the value of their property. This approach required patience and the recognition that we may not get the house. She also answered all our questions about the costs and risks involved in buying a house in Florida. In particular, we were unfamiliar with the high real estate tax, insurance, and flood insurance costs in Florida. Once we got the property under contract Lisa continued to help us through the home inspection process and also referred us to our insurance agent and potential mortgage brokers. Lisa was highly professional and positive throughout our acquisition process and we would absolutely refer Lisa to other potential buyers.
