As first-time homebuyers, my husband and I were looking for a realtor who could help us navigate this foreign process. Family members of ours had purchased a home with Chris years prior and recommended that we reach out to him for help. We are so thankful that we did. While searching for about 18 months in a sellers' market, Chris was patient and devoted to helping us find not just a house that met some of our criteria, but the best place for us to invest our savings and create a home. He sent us specific listings (not automatic search results) and kept an eye out for homes coming on the market that could better meets our needs than what was currently available. He was always free for home tours and came prepared with knowledge of both the house and the neighborhood (e.g., schools, nearby amenities, builder/floorplans/models). We never felt rushed while touring as Chris was also checking on important features of the house (e.g., age of HVAC, water heater, appliances, roof). Will was able to show us around a dozen homes that fit our criteria. He was honest about the pros/cons of each house and talked about concerns that may occur with each property (proximity to stadiums, distance from metros, local schools, etc.). He connected us with a fast and professional financer that actually provided us with the lowest rate, we did shop around. Where Will's experienced shined the most was in finding solutions. When we decided on the house for us the sellers decided to throw a few curve balls. Will provided us with multiple options to resolve the issues that were presented in the process of finding our home. Closing at the agreed upon time, last minute contract changes, and having a move-in ready house were some of the hurdles we ran into and Will resolved them all. I imagine that buying a home is always a bit of a stressful ordeal, but having an experienced realtor to negotiate on your behalf and manage expectations made a difference. My wife and I are very satisfied with our home.
