Carol York was readily available to answer questions, concerns and to listen. I was completely in the dark going into this and was amazed about how little I knew and how much I learned. Lots of papers to review but Carol helped me through each step of the way. The best way for me to sum it up is that even though I did not have to pay any commission to Carol, as the buyers were without an agent as well, I gratefully paid as the help was that valuable to me. All told I would use Carol and FSBO again. I would highly recommend at least talking with her to understand the assistance she can provide, before paying a lot of commission to an agent. I'm sure market factors played a significant role in our decision to use Carol and FSBO, but Carol was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

We saved thousands of dollars working with Carol to sell our home in Simsbury. She was always there to offer her assistance when we needed help or to answer any questions we had. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to sell.

Selling your house is not a mystery. If you do some research, have confidence in yourself, don't always believe what salespeople tell you, you can save money (ex: 3% of $500,000 sales price = $15,000 saved) Carol York of For Sale by Owner Connecticut was the right choice for me. Carol helped me as much as I needed, she was calm and precise.
