"We anticipated that the selling of a family home from out of state was going to be stressful. From the first time that we met with Steve Tamburello we knew that we wanted him to be our agent. His knowledgeable, informative, professional yet non-pressure approach was refreshing and exactly what we needed in a real estate agent. Steve gave us great advice about readying the house for sale. He put up signage to make sure that the house was respected and secured when other buyer's agents and their clients visited the house. He often stopped by to make sure the house was secured knowing that we were not in the area. He was very responsive to our many emails and calls and was able to guide us to the best choice out of the 16 offers in 3 days. Steve went above and beyond to keep us abreast with what was happening and what needed to done next to keep the sales process moving. He treated us as if we were his only client, despite us knowing that this was a very busy time in the real estate market. Despite having significant difficulties with the buyer and the buyer's agent regarding getting things done on their end, Steve persevered in questioning and directing them as to how we were going to get to the point of settlement. He was in constant communication with the buyer's agent, the buyer's bank, the buyer's bank's lawyer and the title company to keep things moving. He did not accept noncommittal answers from these entities. Despite these issues, Steve was very calm and reassuring to us that things were going to work out OK. We would not hesitate to use Steve and his Century 21 agency again or to recommend him to our family, friends or neighbors in the area."
