I ended up buying it and couldn’t be happier. As a nice bonus I ended up saving a significant amount of money as I ended up getting the house for close to the asking price. Ming Ming did not encourage me to raise my bid in any way telling me that there were other factors that sellers look at when evaluating an offer. As it turned out, my offer was turned down at first, but was accepted two days later when the other buyer backed out. Proof that persistence pays off.
