My life partner Robert and I decided to sell our homes and move in together in the Summer of 2022; the worst time you could possibly pick. With interest rates going up, it took us 7 months of multiple showings and open houses to sell our first home with a negative price adjustment of $200K+ and changing two brokers with no result. While looking for our next home and scrolling thru Zillow for months, one night, we read the most beautiful, in a literary sense, house description and decided we must see the house. That is how we met David Hitt and his business partner Charles Ryan. They were attentive, professional and very knowledgeable about all aspects of this unique property in the Woodland Hills. The chemistry was there! So, when the time final came to sell our second home, a condo in Calabasas, after interviewing multiple agents, we hired David & Charles. They were the only brokers, who have already adjusted to the market conditions (as opposed to others who would agree to any price you want just to get the listing and then you would end up reducing the price and lose days on the market). They’ve introduced us to the staging company Delicious Decors who absolutely transformed the place. I wished I lived like this! They priced the properly to attract the maximum attention in the minimal amount of time and closed the deal in 60 days getting multiple offers on the condo. Did I mention the property was listed at the end of November, the slowest time for real estate deals, with the interest rates in high 6-7%?! Live videos on social media, professional staging and photographs, amazing marketing materials, constant feedback and advise was our experience with them! I will recommend this team of 2 for 1 over any other real estate agent! Thank you, David, and Charles, for making our second home selling experiences so enjoyable and pain free!

Daren represented me as a seller and my adult children as house buyers so I have seen him function in both roles. Darren is a true advocate for his clients. When representing sellers, he knows the fine line between pushing up the asking price and still not losing a sale. His combination of lots of experience and good instincts produces good results; he sold my house in under a week at over asking price. He is particularly good at translating aspects of real estate negotiations so the client can understand and be reassured by what is often an unfamiliar process. Not only is Darren a superior communicator, he is great at communicating with many different types of people - both clients and other real estate professionals. One unusual aspect of Darren's service is that he knows tradespeople who can do many small & big repairs on a house in a timely way so the house being sold is not delayed in getting on the market, nor held up in a sale if something shows up that needs to be fixed. Also, by teaming up with his partner Joe, there is always someone available to address the client's concerns around the clock. Throughout the whole process, I knew I was in great hands. I can't imagine a better realtor.
