We have years of memories in this home, growing up, extended family gatherings and the place we called home. When our Mom passed Patrick was the logical choice to sell the house since he had managed the property as a rental for us for several years. I'll be honest, I did consider other real estate brokers who had strategies like creating bidding wars to max the sales price. I can't believe how fortunate we were to go with Patrick. His recommendation for the listing price was spot on (higher than what I was thinking). Two key factors you need in an agent/broker, 1) Knowledge and timeliness - there are many, many documents you, your broker, the buyer and the buyer's broker needs to sign. Staying on top of ensuring every document has every signature requires detail and knowledge. This may occur more than once as buyers may drop out. 2) Professionalism - your agent is representing you and the home. Patrick's communication with the buyer's agent and buyer was as professional as he was with me. I feel Patrick brought honor to our home of many years. The buyer's agent complimented Patrick as such as in today's frenetic market it's not always the case. I referenced our home. I realized as we completed the sale the buyer had a positive experience with the smooth transactions and amenable negotiations.
