Bruce and I were fortunate in having Heather Holmes as our agent in selling our Odenville home. When the market was slowing down and there was little interest in our house, she was diligent in finding a buyer by having some open houses and keeping in touch with the couple who eventually purchased our home. She saw high value in our house and gave great ideas on how to present it to lookers. She also worked hard and fought a low appraisal on our house to come up to a reasonable price. She also was able to get the buyer to come up on the price by finding a painter who worked for a lower fee. Then Heather cut her commission in order for us to get more money out of our sale in order to pay off our new house purchase. Whenever we tried to contact her, she always was very quick to respond. Chris is such a great real estate agent. She is super patient and worked very hard to find a lovely home in my price range. She was working with my limited funds and several requests in a house. I wanted to live east of the city so I would be commuting with the sun at my back both ways. I didn’t want a basement, garage or steps. A house with two or more bedrooms and a fenced in yard for the dogs. I also wanted to be close to somewhere I could hike or get to a park easily. Chris met all of those requirements in this house. Chris answered all of my questions quickly and patiently. She was knowledgeable about the area she was showing me. She was courteous, helpful and professional at all times. She showed me about 40 houses before we found The One. It was quite an arduous adventure. The house hunting lasted about four months with a couple of heart breaking false starts. I probably wouldn’t have looked at this particular house a second time. It had no curb appeal and had been a rental house for too long. But she helped me see with a little tlc this could be a cute, little house. And with the excellent, professional help and support of this realtor, it has become my home and heart.
