My son-in-law found Wilson Leonard and Banyan Real Estate’s website when my wife, daughter, infant grandson, he and I were initially starting to look for rentals in Denver which was necessitated by our pending move from California. Having been a homeowner for 40 plus years, I knew nothing about the rental market, especially in a location in another state. I hadn’t thought about leases. I hadn’t thought about real estate markets, whether buyer’s or seller’s markets. I was naïve. I thought it would be simple to find a rental and simple to find a new home to purchase. I had no clue how stressful this all would be. I hadn’t thought about how it might be difficult to find a rental agreement that would allow for our ‘wished timeline’. I hadn’t thought about coming into a RE market where there were multiple offers above asking for any property we might want to buy. Banyan Realty had the business model that answered all these issues. They had affordable and available properties combined with a flexible lease arrangement that would allow us to attempt to satisfy our timeline. Wilson Leonard, the architect and CEO of Banyan Realty, had the knowledge of the Denver market place to lead us to the properties our desires were dictating. Denver is a diverse locale with many smaller pocket communities. He knew them all. He also had the experience to lead us through a very challenging market where the buyer had little power. He did that through realism and logic, and education for me, my wife, my son-in-law and my daughter. My daughter and son-in-law bought their first home with Wilson as their agent. He also represented my wife and me on ours. And he also represented my son-in-law’s parents who also used Banyan Realty’s flexible rental model and made a subsequent Denver home purchase in their move from New York. I speak very highly of Wilson Leonard and Banyan Realty and will use them again should the need arise.
