I'm a bit of a tough judge of real estate agents, as I was raised by one. That said, I cannot stress enough the level of professionalism and expertise exhibited by William. He not only made the lengthy and confusing process of purchasing a home understandable and as painless as possible, but the process of finding a home (in theory, the hard part) not only efficient, but also enjoyable. He frequently went out of his way to do things for us that aren't typically a part of the job description, not the least of which was stopping by afterwards to hand-deliver a nice bottle of champagne as a congratulations on getting our dream house. The listing agent of this property was difficult to reach or make an appointment with, but William persisted. I'm from another state and I did not know the mechanism of California real estate. I thought William did not adequately explain the buyer's contract, how to choose an escrow agency and where the closing would take place.
