William Barrett

William is an energetic bundle of awesome talents and attributes that made the long-distance sale of my property so easy, pleasant, and productive. To wit: he knows the area and the market, provided wise counsel, offered creative ideas; he is efficient, helpful, responsible, resourceful, thorough, diligent, proactive; he is a good listener, a skillful implementer, a deft negotiator...I could go on, but I think you get the idea; It was because of his talents that the property sold for well over the asking price. I am VERY satisfied with his services and grateful for his efforts on my behalf.

Initially I wondered why William was involved in real estate; he is much too smart and urbane to be in this business. I see him more as the Director of the Smithsonian or National Gallery of Art. It became apparent that, while he embraces le monde, he is an extrovert and would be stilted by culturally elite institutions such as I mentioned. We were the beneficiaries of his choice to simply be the best at what he does. Highly professional and extremely knowledgeable, William is also persistent without overwhelming his clients. Kept his cool better than I did selling a 150 yr old house to a difficult buyer. Thankfully persuaded us (me and son's ex mother-in-law whose input was not always helpful} from accepting an offer that would have put us on them hook for any mandated upgrades. Too risky for a house built in 1872. Patient, thorough, responsive, prompt. Will shortly hand him the commission to sell another one, hopefully to list by Easter 2022. Need I say more?
