How to describe the best business dealing of my life? (*rolls up sleeves*) I’ll try: The Staffords came into our lives as we were dealing with one frustration after another in our YEARS-LONG, very specific search for the perfect property in North Idaho. It seemed to us that the string of disappointing realtors in our wake just weren’t motivated. We happened to meet Will & Laura quite by chance when they drove to the Oregon Coast to buy a large item that we had offered for sale online. Once we realized they were realtors, we bombarded them with questions. They happily answered them all, and offered excellent tips. They encouraged us to try to make things work with the realtor we had at the time, but after another month of half-hearted “efforts” by our guy, we knew we had to make a change. Once we signed up with the Staffords, we kicked ourselves for not doing it earlier. The difference between them and the half-dozen real estate agents that we had previously dealt with was like NIGHT AND DAY. They absolutely threw themselves into the process, giving us regular updates with phone calls, texts and email. They drove all over the Panhandle to provide us with video of houses and lots. There are many examples of them going above and beyond the call of duty, but there is one, perhaps, that is the most telling: A property we were considering was within a few hundred yards of a railroad crossing. We were concerned that the noise from the train’s whistle would be a nuisance, but we had no way to know how loud it was. Will and Laura offered to drive to the property AND SIT THERE UNTIL A TRAIN CAME BY, then report their findings to us. It wasn’t long before we found our forever home. In a market where listings are quickly snatched up by eager buyers, the Staffords didn’t waste one second in doing everything necessary to make it happen for us. They jumped in head-first and, when the dust settled, it was ours. I believe we will be lifelong friends.
