Walt has been an acquaintance of ours for several years, and although sometimes people advise against mixing friendship with business, we found Walt to be very professional and amiable in dealing with us. Firstly, he represented us as buyers, patiently looking for just the right place to come up in a sellers market and informing us as soon as and even before a condo became available. He was very quick to get us into the new condos on the market, gave honest opinions of the properties and pointed out possibilities and drawbacks as well. Although the first couple of places that we bid on did not work out, when we found the right one, he helped us decide how to approach the purchase and advised us on decisions that would make our offer most attractive to the buyer. Once we signed the purchase agreement, he switched hats and became our realtor as the sellers agent. We agreed to start the asking price a little high, not realizing that the market was changing, but as soon as it became evident we were probably not going to get what we were asking, he quickly guided us to a more appropriate price range, and interest in our home picked up, with an interested buyer making an offer within a couple of weeks. Walt always responded quickly and answered our questions with careful attention, even though he had a few personal and medical emergencies to deal with at the same time. He was always prepared with paperwork in advance, and thoroughly researched the sale of our home as well as the possible condos to purchase. We would recommend Walt Weiss without hesitation.
