I found Virginia through Zillow when my husband and I decided we wanted to move across the country from CA to VA. I had no clue where to start or who to call. I was so fortunate to meet her. We connected in December 2021 at the very beginning of the idea of moving. She got to know me over 7 months and helped keep me in the loop of available properties, the best neighborhoods, areas to avoid, etc. When our house sold, I jumped on a plane and spent a week with her looking at properties. She dropped everything to be with me knowing I had flown out on short notice on a time crunch. Once we found our dream house there were some problems that needed repairs. She acted as our boots on the ground while we were in CA, keeping the process moving forward and pushing the sellers to not sit on things. She also recommended top rated contractorsand handled the negotiating for services. She is also SO knowledgeable on all things VA loan. She even helped us navigate early possession since we arrived a day early with 5 pets we couldn't bring to a hotel. I will be forever grateful to Virginia for her hard work and her genuine care. Virginia was a real "life saver" for me and my family during our house hunting. I was living in NC but looking for a home in VA. Virginia kept me very informed of any/all houses that fit our needs, as soon as they hit the MLS listing. Virginia had a VERY good understanding of our specific situation and needs and she had a lot of good ideas and advice on what to do to meet those needs. Virginia was always willing to work around my schedule of commuting back and forth to VA from NC. Honestly, I don't think I would have found our perfect home without her. Virginia also went out of her way to help me understand and work through the whole process of buying a new home. Not only do I have a new/perfect home but I also gained a friend in Virginia. My husband and I were first time home buyers and we had no idea how any of it worked- but with Virginia’s help the process flew by , was easy to understand everything , and she made sure we weren’t taken advantage of since we are young. Not only that but we had a pretty set list of must haves- fenced in yard for our two dogs, close to my husbands work, normal sized rooms, under a certain amount but a nice size home/not shabby looking and room to grow our family when the time came. She exceeded our must haves and we got our perfect home. Virginia knows the area like the back of her hand and wont allow you to settle on a house that isn’t in the perfect area or the perfect fit for you. We are so grateful we used her!
