As first time homebuyers we were very anxious about the possibility of being scammed. We did a lot of research online, read all the guides and looked in the different websites. But we ended up needing a real person on the ground to tackle the final and most significant phase of the search. Vineeta was that person. Working with her remotely was a breeze - almost as easy as a Zillow search. She replied promptly even at times when we didn’t expect her to. She followed through with calls scheduled at our convenience. We relied on her local expertise to make sense of the reviews that we read. She is truly a buyers agent because she listens to your expressed needs and translates that to a list of properties by the end of the day. We never felt that she was trying to push property on us. Despite the inconveniences brought on by the pandemic, we were able to visit all our prospective homes in a span of two days (that included our three-year-old sons afternoon nap). Vineeta joined us in exploring the properties, patiently listened to our impressions and offered her expertise on the condition of the house. She knew from the top of her head how much repairs would cost and how practical it would be to do that. Our offer was accepted before the end of the day of our 2 day search. The next few steps we’re mostly paperwork and waiting. Although there were some snags and it was potentially difficult because we were still working in New York, we relied on Vineeta to do the legwork for us. She was remarkable! All documents were digital. Inspection and closing all went without a hitch. She even helped us get the house ready for your arrival and deal with all the minor inconveniences of an old house after we moved in. We highly recommend Vineeta!
