When we first started with Vanessa we were looking for a rental thinking that home ownership was a bit further off than we could handle. Here's my son's story: My mom recently retired and decided to move from her home of 45 years in So. Cal., and go 400 miles away to live closer to my family. Due to challenges with language barriers and the complexity of real estate transactions, Mom needed help selling her house. I could only do so much from 400 miles away so I called on my long time friend, Vanessa who happens to be a real estate agent, to help Mom get her house sold. So, Vanessa got the house sold. At more than $45K over listing price. But any agent can sell a house... It's how she handled this transaction that deserves so much praise. She treated my mother with respect, kindness, and so much care that you would've thought that Vanessa was selling her own mother's house! By the way, Vanessa's parents are also real estate agents and should be VERY proud of their daughter. Vanessa was extremely patient with my mother's language challenges and took the time to explain everything to Mom. She went above and beyond to help Mom with details that most sellers would normally handle on their own. She also kept VERY good communication with me keeping me updated during every little step, and being 400 miles away that was not easy. She was extremely transparent with all that we could expect, and especially the challenges that we did NOT expect (and yes, there were quite a few of them!). She did all this while being the mother of three wonderful boys and the wife of an equally hard working man. This woman manages to somehow take care of her family while still treating my mother as if she was the most important client in the world.
