I chose the right agent. Selling a 3 unit rental property during COVID takes a lot of planning. Add an unexpected surgery and hospital stay during the listing process, and most agents would have delayed the listing. Vanessa was amazing. Near the end of 2019, I searched online for an appraiser to discover how much our home was worth. Vanessa answered my call and so began our journey of selling a home at the end of 2019 and buying a home in 2021. Vanessa was able to walk us through the process of getting a home inspection, fixing the problems that needed the most attention, getting professional pictures taken, and setting up the text alert home showing system. She made the process so simple for us, and we could not have sold our house in two days for full listing price if it wasn’t for her attention and recommendations. At the end of 2020 into 2021, we were looking to purchase a home in Lancaster County. Of course, the market was crazy and the pandemic made it especially difficult to navigate the process. Vanessa was able to schedule each of the home tours in record time and created her own closing cost and mortgage payment estimates of each home as well. She placed several offers for us on homes throughout the county before we finally had an offer accepted! We were going on a vacation the day the owner was choosing an offer, so Vanessa picked up our down payment check and dropped it off the next day! This is one example of how Vanessa went above and beyond her duties to make sure our home buying experience was as simple as possible. Vanessa is the best in the business. She bent over backwards to help us accomplish our goals with our first (and second) investment property.
