Buying a House in a Seller's Market

My wife and I began our house hunting in the greater Tampa Bay area late February 2022. We quickly learned that houses were already under contract after listing for only 1-2 days. There was also a lot of buyers paying cash and/or making offers above asking price. In other words: A Seller's market. We chose Traci as our Realtor after talking to at least six other agents at open houses. Traci is very knowledgeable about this area and also helped us present offers that would hold up against cash buyers and over bidders. Most importantly she was the anchor that helped us get our second offer accepted. We closed on our house April 11, 2022 which was less than a month after we began submitting offers with bids based on her recommendations. Her methodology and steadfast personalty make her a great real estate agent.
