Tom Chang is the man! I was originally worried as a first-time home buyer that I wouldn’t really get the best-of-the-best experience from an agent, but Tom was an absolute rock star who went above and beyond what was necessary to help find the perfect home, in the perfect spot, at the perfect price. Tom was patient, kind, straightforward, active, and extremely knowledgeable about everything we needed to get the job done. I know there were plenty of times I was a pain in the you-know-what throughout this process (especially the times I wanted to call Tom late at night), but Tom never wavered, never stopped being positive, and never let us down. I will be honest, we had no business being selected to buy the amazing home that we got, because there were other buyers coming in with either stronger offers or straight cash offers above our CalHFA conventional loan. Thankfully, Tom established such a well-working relationship with the listing agent behind the scenes that they ultimately decided to sell to us. After closing, I personally spoke with the listing agent who told me that they 100% were more comfortable picking us, saying “you guys really scored with Tom, because he was the coolest and easiest agent to work with in my entire career”. Tom helped us navigate through some bumps in the road by other stakeholders in the process, all of our paperwork was released on time, and at the end of the day we were actually able to close escrow early! I love this guy, I will always recommend him, and I absolutely will work with him again.
