It was obvious from my first meeting with Todd that he was a consummate professional. He is punctual, knowledgeable, and kept me informed every step of my purchase of a new construction home. He was always on top of paperwork and communication with my lender(s), builder, and lawyer, and was instrumental in getting me through a mini crisis near the end of the process. He represented Hall and Nixon Real Estate admirably and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for property or a home in the Elizabeth City area.

My wife and I genuinely felt cared for through the buying process. We walked into the market with anxiety, thinking all sorts of things. Todd helped alleviate a lot of stress and was very patient, even when we had setbacks. He never tried to push us to buy the bigger properties, but had them readily available if we ever wanted to consider the possibility. Flexible in his schedule for viewings, which was nice. We first reached out to Todd back in December because we needed to purchase a home. About a month later, he identified another that was under construction, but which had a completion date that aligned with our needs. After thinking about it for a week or so, we decided to go for it. During the building process, Todd kept us well-informed about the progress and also stayed in touch with the seller's agent and our attorney making sure we'd be able to close on schedule. We walked across the finish line this morning and could not be happier with our new home. The process was smooth from start-to-finish and we'd gladly work with Todd again when it's time to get our next one.
