For the seller, she was visiting the house frequently to make sure all was well. She personally bid, awarded and oversaw all of the punchlist items to completion. She showed up just before the hurricane to secure the furniture in the lanai and later to return to normal presentation positions. She personally funded and made right several issues identified later during my visits. For me, she was available to open the house for my review as needed. During the six months that Tina worked with us in the spring and summer of 2022, she far exceeded our expectations as, working collaboratively with her, we drew upon her expertise, commitment, and full-time effort to successfully prepare our premier home for sale, list it on April 15, and close on its sale a little more than three months later on August 26. Highlights of the experience include Tina’s ability to prepare both us and the house for sale, her knowledge of the local market, her skills in appropriately pricing the property, her prior success in selling homes in The Villages, her on-line and in-person marketing skills, her interpersonal skills in dealing with potential buyers—knowing when to encourage, what to say, and when to back off—and, for us, her sensitivity to our desire to find a buyer who would love the home and its exceptional property and location as much as we loved it for almost 15 years. I have bought two houses through Tina Teraskiewicz, and have been very impressed with her professionalism and friendship during both transactions. She goes far beyond merely "selling a house," and still continues a personal relationship with my wife and me even now after the deals are settled and she has nothing further to gain by treating us as nicely as she does. In the first of the two houses I bought, she got the roof and the ceiling replaced long after the deal was over. Later, she found a long-term renter for us on that house even though she had nothing to gain from doing so. In addition, she keeps a watchful eye over our two properties long after the deals were done, even going so far as to locate items we had left behind and send them to us here in Illinois where we live most of the year. My wife and I have bought several houses from other agents, but not once has one of them treated us so well. Never has one of those agents, despite being personal friends of mine, cared enough after the dealing was done to maintain a working relationship with my wife and me.
