Twenty years ago, I designed and built a log cabin on ten acres in the high desert outside Kernville. Needless to say, I was extremely vested in the house and property… and had a great deal of work to do to fully evacuate it for the next owner. I also wanted to make sure that I was able to complete the move and sale of my property no later than year-end (roughly six months away). My RE Agent, Tina Price, was excited to take on the challenge… providing beautiful photos and an aerial video of the property for use in marketing outside Kern County. Despite the appeal of the cabin and property, it was extremely difficult market timing to sell property in a rural environment due to mortgage rates, forest fires, insurance concerns, road closures, economics, politics, etc. And, Tina had the additional challenge of communicating with me as I completed moving 200 miles away and stressed over every aspect of the process. After only a few showings, we received an offer and were able to complete the sale. I’m grateful that Tina remained very positive and professional throughout the proceedings and encouraged me many times along the way!
