With over 30 years of experience in real estate, Tim Carter is a seasoned Affiliate Broker specializing in commercial real estate. His relationships include well-known brands such as Walgreens, Cinemark Theatres (Tinseltown), Red Lobster, Home Depot, Advance Auto Parts, Sally Beauty, Cato, and Logan’s, among many others. Notably, Tim played a key role in bringing major restaurants like Red Lobster, Olive Garden, O’Charley’s, Logan’s, Ruby Tuesday, and Pal’s to Exit 7 in Bristol, VA.
Tim began his career in the 1990s as a home builder and quickly gained recognition as a leader in the field. His residential development portfolio includes 14 subdivisions in the Tri-Cities region, such as Grande Harbor, Fairfield, Timberbrook, and Chadsworth. He was named Homebuilder of the Year in 1989, 1991, and 1993, and served as President of the Homebuilders Association in 1990. Tim was also honored with multiple awards from the Business Journal in the Tri-Cities for his achievements in the field.
Transitioning to commercial real estate, Tim has led projects throughout Southwest Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, and other parts of the Southeast. His work spans build-to-suit single-tenant developments, shopping center construction and revitalization, office building development, and leasing. He has extensive expertise in commercial property sales, leasing, management, and investment strategy.
