This is the second time we have used Renee Marshall. She was our real estate agent when we first bought our Spanish Fort home, and helped us sell 5 years later. She is THE best. While we had multiple offers, which we appreciated, we got into a legal battle with the two parties wanting to buy our house. During the process there was a poorly written communication from the agent to one of the potential buyers that resulted in some vulnerability on our part. Throughout this process we followed the advice of our agent and her broker and in spite of this, we were told they would provide no support as we worked through the legal process. There reason was "they are not responsible since all they do is what a buyer asked them to do. We were shocked since they handled the contract, communicated with the agents from the buyers AND presented our options, which we followed. There approach was one you would expect from a "for sale by owner" model. Not one where you paid significant commissions for there "expertise"
