As an out of state buyer, I am relieved to have had Alan and Erika Bateman at the Bateman Team as my buyer’s agents throughout my California state-wide search for my mother’s retirement home. I am impressed at how easily Alan and Erika handled acting as double remote agents, working from their southern California home base while I shopped online from my home on the East Coast for properties largely located in mid to northern California. They were extremely knowledgeable and kept me from feeling overwhelmed or missing out on important steps through their consistent communication and persistent adherence to California real estate laws. Not only did Erika and Alan take the time to explain relevant legal implications to my mother and I, when we finally selected a house in Alturas, they ensured the sellers’ agent there followed these laws. When Alan and Erika caught mistakes and missed documentation from the sellers’ agent, who had on one occasion claimed “we don’t worry about those kinds of things up here,” they protected me by forcing compliance (even doing some of the sellers’ agents work for them) on the grounds that California regulations is state-wide. However tedious or complicated the process may have been for the Bateman Team in being in different states from their buyer and in different cities from the sellers’ agents, Alan and Erika made the process look easy. I would highly recommend The Bateman Team to help out with any Real Estate transactions!
