Terry Moore and his team (Teresa, Erica, and Barry) of Apartment Consultants, Inc represented my Pacific Beach rental properties. Terry Moore of Apartment Consultants, Inc was one of a number of agencies that I solicited to sell my four properties in Pacific Beach. Their proposal was stellar and convinced me that he was knowledgeable and fully capable of successfully representing my properties. I had already done my own assessment of value in the Pacific Beach market and their valuations were close to my expectations based on comparable sales and current listings. The first two properties sold in short order with the third property about a month later. The fourth property, 1532 Missouri St, was a little more challenging, but they all were sold for more than our expected total. All properties were 1031 transactions and were completed successfully during a very challenging time with the pandemic. Terry and his team were actively working the sales and were fully responsive to me with weekly progress updates. They were Professional, Aggressive, Thorough, Responsive, Pleasant, and Courteous. Working with Terry and his team was good all-around experience -- especially if you are considering a 1031 exchange. In spite of the fact that we live over 120 miles away, they made everything easy for us. There were only two times that really necessitated our coming down to the San Diego area -- our initial face-to-face meeting, and then again for a replacement property inspection (your mileage may vary depending upon your own comfort level on "needing to be there.") Terry's team of Teresa, Erica, and Barry were always available, as well as Terry himself, who proved to us to be a positive guide and educator through what can become a stressful time. With Terry's help, we were able to negotiate through a 1031 exchange during a global pandemic. Think about that for a second. Enough said.
