My wife and I worked with Terry Holland to sell our Oak Park house in the summer of 2021. The actual planning started a couple years earlier as we started to think about where we would move for our retirement. Planning shifted into a higher gear about four months before the sale, as we discussed what we needed to do with our house to make it more marketable. There was a lot of prep work he recommended, which we agreed to do. Terry continually impressed us with his ability to listen, provide advice and help us through the hard work of prepping our house. When we needed recommendations for vendors, he provided contacts to contractors that were able to do the work professionally and on-time. The actual sales process could NOT have been easier. Our house sold within five days of going on the market, at our asking price. The closing process was equally smooth. We were informed and consulted throughout the entire process. The actual closing was almost anti-climactic. This was in contrast to the house we were buying where nothing went right. The stress we underwent in buying served only to illustrate just how good Terry and his team are at selling real estate.
