As this was our first home buying experience we wanted to be sure that we had the right Realtor working for us. After speaking with at least a half a dozen agents we decided to go with Terry, he was clearly the best choice. His knowledge of the current market and clear desire to see that we got the right house at the right price, along with his open and easy personality made the decision easy for us. We ran him all over between the Portland and Salem areas looking for the right place and he always got it all done much faster than we could have expected. When we found the house we really wanted there was already an offer and the people were reluctant to show it again. Terry was able to get them to show it to us and we now live in our wonderful new home. In my opinion Terry is the best that you could hope for in an agent and is a great example of not only what an agent should be but a person as well. Terry managed the sale of our home of 17 years and the purchase of our dream home. From great advice on the preparation for sale of our old home through financing and closing of the sale of our new to us home, Terry was competent, professional and above all, very communicative. I say above all communicative because the process of selling and buying a home is something most of us don't do every day and it is stressful but, the clear and constant communication Terry provides throughout the process helps to make everything easier. There are other agents who I'm sure do great work but, I doubt there are many who go above and beyond the way Terry does. Terry himself, helped to make repairs on the home we were buying to help insure it would go through appraisal without requiring further repairs. Don't ask Terry a question you don't want an honest answer to as he is a straight shooter and steadfast in his honesty. I would never go with another agent with Terry available because he has completely earned my trust.

We first met Terry Foster through a family member that recommended him for our house hunting needs in Beaverton/Hillsboro Oregon. We loved Terry from the moment we met. We told him what our price range was and started to look at homes that met our criteria. We did make an offer within the first few homes we looked at but it was a contingency offer and the other buyer won the bid. So back to house searching. We looked at about 20-30 houses every free chance we got. Terry was always upbeat and friendly. I know we were very picky and he was completely understanding of it. We finally found a beautiful house and Terry was on vacation in Florida and still wrote our offer which we won! He walked us through all the process and stayed in contact even when there was long periods between contacts and new contracts to complete. He came to our new home after we moved in to welcome us home. We consider him a friend and he is extremely professional and friendly. We can not recommended him any more highly. You would not be disappointed in his abilities.
