We had an excellent experience working with Terrance on buying our first home. We presented a (I think) particularly difficult set of circumstances: we were coming from out of state and did not know the region well at all; we wanted to find a relatively affordable space for our first home; and we wanted it within commuting distance to Menlo Park and in an excellent school district for our young children. Terrance took on these requests with an energetic yet level-headed eagerness. He provided us with a wealth of insights into various neighborhoods which he thought would fit well with our lifestyle and goals. Importantly, his neighborhood and unit suggestions were always realistic and not lofty unobtainable goals for some nebulous future. Even in the insane housing market of early 2022, he never gave up our cause or led us to believe that our relatively low budget and small down payment were not up to the task. Even when we eventually shifted our focus from the Oakland region to further down south in the Union City/Fremont/Newark area, Terrance was able to seamlessly shift focus and continue to provide us with invaluable insights into current market trends. When we found a unit we were in love with, he immediately sprang into action and opened up an active dialog with the selling agent. I'm convinced that he lifted an incredible load from off our shoulders by engaging directly with the selling team on our behalf. Over the weeks that followed we were educated well about each step in the process, and guided to decisions which eventually secured us a beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood. You should understand that this entire process took place while we were living across the country. To me, this speaks to Terrance's excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients on our terms. His flexibility, professionalism, and down to earth attitude is a credit to his training and his capability to help you achieve your goals. Thank you, Terrance!
