Tara Silicio

Tara and I met about fifteen years ago. Tara has remained in contact throughout the years. I didn't buy my condo from her, although I wish she had been my realtor from the start. She knew I wanted to get out of my condo, but she advised to hold onto it when the economy went south in 2008. She said condos were the first to fall and they'll be the last to recover. It would be utterly impossible to find a more stellar agent. Tara greatly surpassed my hopes for what an agent could be. When we looked for our future home in 2010 - 2011 she was very honest in pointing out the pitfalls of homes I really liked. Clearly, getting the sale was not the most important thing to her. It was finding the right home for us. We were very happy in the home we did buy. It was perfect! Throughout the time we owned our home she gave us great references for maintenance people. When we considered selling and purchasing well outside her area she went way out of her way to find us a great agent, even though she would make next to nothing on our next purchase. She held my hand through the anxieties of determining when might be the best time to simultaneously retire, sell, and move out of the area. Her caring, sage advice, experience, expertise and support meant the world to me. When the time came, she gave us excellent council in determining the asking price and holding out for the selling price we needed. Her knowledge of the market and negotiation skills could only have come with her many years of experience. She was right with us in taking care of every last detail, including watering plants after we moved out of the area and in wrapping up utility responsibilities once we closed. She made sure the final signing was easy even though we were no longer local. She made certain we understood the process, was incredibly communicative and responsive every time I had a question, and was positive and encouraging through every step. Tara has become one of the most important and wonderful people in my life. I can’t possibly thank her enough. I will forever be in her debt.
