Tanya was our 4th realtor. Our first realtor was a family who has been selling houses for many years and we thought would have our best interest in mind, but we felt very much on our own. The other two just didn't seem to know anything about selling houses to be honest. Tanya was someone I've known a long time, but hadn't seen since school. After complaining about the process on Facebook, Tanya mentioned she also was a realtor. We'd been searching a year, we were tired and we needed someone. We took a chance and asked Tanya to show us a house. Home buying is SO stressful and our biggest relief in the process came when we started working with Tanya. From that point on, we had a resource with a wealth of knowledge (this is my husband's and my first home) on the entire home buying process and total loyalty to us and what we were looking for. Even my mortgage guy commented on her "impressive" wealth of knowledge. Tanya promised to find us our dream home and her determination never wavered. In the end, we got a home that checked everything off our list for less than we expected to pay and we're incredibly happy. Who you work with is a terribly important decision as your home is a lifelong investment for most, make sure you work with someone you can rely on.
