Tanya Johnson
This summer I bought a manufactured home in a quiet 55+ neighborhood. Ms. Tanya Johnson was my realtor and the sole reason that an awful experience turned into a very happy outcome. My original home sold to a military officer from out of state and was negotiated by a military real estate specialist acting on her behalf. We found our new home-in the same neighborhood and opened escrow, pending the sale of our prior home. When the military officers' loan payment was delayed by a week and a half, the selling agent became enraged and called our realtor-(Ms. Johnson) to yell at her repeatedly over something neither she nor I had anything to do with. Then he began robo-calling her over-and-over, late into the evenings. Despite all, she kept her cool, spoke calmly and kindly, and stayed lazer focused on both sales completing to everyones' greatest satisfaction-not just mine. She held on to that grace when he began to demand federally protected information about the buyer of my house-unaware this was a U.S. military assisted transaction. By the time the 9 days passed and the funds were released, he had screamed at multiple loan and real estate administrators on all sides of the purchases, including...my agent. Ultimately, in his unexplainable rage, he wrote an email to Ms. Johnson on his company letterhead threatening to hold the escrow open for extra days, so that I lose my rate lock. This is also a crime. In the end, Tanya had negotiated the deal for the exact price we wanted to pay, helped us make what we wanted from our sale, and never lost sight. Tanya Johnson is smart, steady, self-assured and in both my purchase and sale...spectacular. Clearly there are a lot of different kinds of realtors. I'm very relieved I had Tanya representing me!
