Good morning. How do I rate my experience with Tammy Lathrop? Excellent. Professional. Caring. Outstanding follow through. And why do I state these attributes? Tammy sold my mother's house in Granada Hills CA.. Tammy lives in Anaheim. One way to Granada Hills is approximately 50+ miles. She drove multiple times to help my mom. My mother is 88 years old and bought her only house with my dad years ago. My mom decided to move closer to me (I live in Anaheim) and her grandchildren (18). So when my mom made her decision to move to Orange County, there was a lot of apprehension and taken aback by the current day process of looking for and buying property in "today's California". My mom kept saying, "when your father and I bought our house, we only had two pages to sign". Tammy explained ALL paperwork and lead her through both transactions. I should mention that Tammy also found the condo my mom now lives in and my mom is quite pleased with where she lives in Fullerton. Tammy has also helped significantly with the rules of property tax transfer. This was an area of BIG concern for my mom. Even now, when my mom has a question about taxes or HOA rules, she contacts Tammy and Tammy gives her guidance or finds other professionals who can answer her questions. So how do I rate Tammy? We had no idea where we wanted to live and looked at a search range from the San Gabriel Valley all the way down to Long Beach and all the way over to Orange County. Tammy really helped us narrow in on what we were looking for and helped us find the perfect house for us. But what made Tammy really stand out was two things first her enormous experience and being able to manage the process side of a house hunt, especially during Covid with all the extra forms and paperwork and the competitiveness of the current market. And second her willingness to show us all kinds of houses with no judgment. Her open and non-judgemental approach really gave us the confidence to make offers on houses feeling very confident in the market and what it would take to close. We dragged Tammy all over the greater Los Angeles area for over 12 months and in the end found an unbelievable house in the perfect neighborhood for a very fair price. What I realize now that I didn’t know at the beginning of my house hunt is having an experienced agent on your side gives you a huge amount of leverage in negotiations. You want an agent who other agents like to work with, and that’s exactly who Tammy is.
