I started my real estate career in 2002 full of ambition, never expecting the 2008 housing crash to leave me with just $93 to my name and a son to support. Quitting wasn’t an option. I rebuilt from scratch—diving into education, studying the market, and showing up every day with grit and determination. One lesson I learned early: open houses matter. I made them a cornerstone of my business—multiple every week, sometimes daily—and I’ve never seen anyone fail in this business who consistently holds them.
That discipline paid off. For over a decade, I held the #1 agent spot at the companies I worked with, proving that hard work and resilience always win. In 2018, I launched my own team, and together we’ve broken records—consistently ranking #1 in the state and even landing in the top 10 nationwide.
But success has never been just about sales. I created the Home Team Iowa Foundation to turn real estate success into real impact, hosting an annual charity golf outing that has raised thousands for local causes. I’ve also partnered with Greenland Homes on seven Charity Homes, where all proceeds—including commissions—went directly to Children’s Cancer Connection to support families facing childhood cancer. Along the way, I’ve been proud to support organizations like Friends of CASA, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Make-A-Wish, the Parkinson’s DSM Chapter, and GiGi’s Playhouse.
From $93 in my pocket to leading one of the top teams in the country, my journey is about grit, passion, and never backing down. Today, I bring that same energy to every client, every home, and every effort to give back to the communities I serve.
