Recently, I sold and bought houses within the span of a couple of months. Tamika was the commensurate agent! Initially, we discussed the expectations for both the sale and purchase of the houses. We systematically reviewed the comps for my neighborhood to understand the best price to sell my house. She suggested a few upgrades to the house to ensure it had the most recent design layout and aesthetically pleasing to the buyer. For instance, we discussed paint color, furniture arrangement, etc. And she was very engaging and responsive to potential buyers during the ‘showing’ phase. The sale of the house proceeded in a streamlined manner! On the purchase side, she remained very encouraging when houses ‘came’ and ‘went’ as I navigated the federal interest rate hikes ordeal! At times when I was about to settle, she reminded me of aspects of a house that were important ‘to and for’ me. She also reminded me of my future endeavors and how the preferred house either met or did not meet the goals. Tamika shared in the joy and excitement when I finally decided on a house!!! She went above and beyond in finding resources to explain certain details of the house that was unfamiliar to me. And she was the first to congratulate me on the purchase of my ‘forever’ home.
