About Sy

Sy has lived in Georgia for the last 11 years. Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law/ Political Science with extensive course work in Communication Studies from Furman University in 2003. Instead of taking the traditional route and entering law school as planned, she earned an MBA with a minor in Marketing from the University of Phoenix in 2007 while working within corporate America and growing her own event planning company. During this time, she became a real estate investor and landlord, where she first learned the ropes of HUD operations, subsidized, and conventional property. As a result of being a participant in several real estate deals, Sy made the leap to become a realtor to help families buy homes that will be profitable in the event they decided to resale. As an award-winning sales professional within the Telecommunications and Banking industries, her experience seamlessly translates to the real estate industry due to her working with several business owners, and C levels in the decision-making and negotiating process to help them evaluate deals that created a substantial ROI while creating efficiencies. This is the same philosophy utilized with her clients. Her goal is to not simply find you a place to live but to find you a home that continues to appreciate over time. Sy enjoys traveling, meeting new people, trying new foods, reading, writing, furniture restoration, and spending time with her daughters, Fallon, Parker, and Peyton.

A true Realtor who cares!

Sy may not have 20 years in the real estate business as many of these other agents tell you, but her years of sales experience make up for that. Sy Wigginton helped us transition with our move from California to Georgia seamlessly. Even when we couldn't make it out to Georgia, she did video walk through for us to see live. She even gave us information on areas we would like & different amenities around the houses we were interested in...
