We first dealt with Susan in early 2011, while looking for potential retirement houses. We were from out of state, so Susan provided us a steady stream of potential properties for us to evaluate. When we flew into town to do in-person visits of our most promising prospects, she helped familiarize us with the layout of the towns, neighborhoods, amenities and major attractions. She really maximized our time and we put an offer on one of the houses we visited. It happed to be a short-sale (which further complicated the transaction) but Susan guided us through the process which was eventually concluded remotely, without requiring another visit to Florida. Almost 9 years later our retirement plans have changed. We decided to sell that beautiful subdivision property that we were renting out until our retirement. Instead we were going to look for a Florida property to grow tropical fruit and raise some animals. We immediately contacted Susan to list our house. She helped prioritize the needed repairs or updates so that we were able to either start contacting reputable contractors, or plan on knocking out some of those updates ourselves. She once again helped maximize our time on the ground, and we had accepted an offer before we even finished our drive back to Iowa. We felt so comfortable working with Susan, that we recommended her to our friends in North Carolina. They too, reviewed her suggestions remotely and upon visiting in person, made an offer on a house. We look forward to working with Susan again to procure our new ideal retirement acreage within the next year or two.
