I interviewed the three top agents for the Alabaster, AL area and hired Susan for several reasons. First, she seemed to genuinely care about my needs and really wanted to help me through the home selling process. This was very big for me, especially since I had already relocated to KY and it would be a long distance effort. Secondly, she offered me real concrete help to get the process started. This included recommending important repairs and putting me in touch with trusted contractors who specialize in those repairs that she uses on a regular basis. These contractors did really great work at fair cost. Susan made sure they performed the work in a timely and satisfactory manner within budget. Susan justified my retaining her by really going above and beyond the call of duty through the whole process of selling my home. She really earned her commission with many trips to the house to check on it, make sure it was clean and ensure painting and other repair work was completed properly. This was all before it was actually on the market. Once it was on the market she showed the house often and made the purchase/sale contracting process easy for me and even arranged for a mail in closing that allowed me to remain in KY for the closing.
