Steven Shafer

My experience with Steven was very disappointing, I schedule a showing to a property on 8/31 and everything was fine. Steven's communication was fine, and he responded back quickly! Steven called to confirm, and the very next morning, the day of the showing he claimed the owner canceled randomly. I called to reschedule and he didn't answer! He also left no details about another availability for the showing in his text, and he didn't call to reschedule after I had shown interest. I called, text and left voicemails for Steven over the past week. He did not respond to any communication. I'm not sure as to why this is I don't think this is a discrimination issue but as an African American it feels like it is. After he heard my voice the showing was canceled randomly and his communication stopped. (Also to note in his text he did not mention he was leaving out of town, and would not be able to respond). This has never happen to me before out of many years and various properties I have seen/purchased. Normally realtors are happy to have you come see a property and even let you know of other properties they have available. Normally agents are eager to reschedule with you for missed showing. This was not the case! I really had an interest in this property and I'm not sure why I can not view the home.
