Steven Houghtaling

I was very particular about certain things, such as personal convenience, the proximity to my loved ones, and the layout and future design of the house I had envisioned. In addition, Steven knew I had a higher level of taste, which I wouldn’t budge on. Therefore, he had a good idea of exactly the kind of home that would make me a happy owner. He then showed me different options, which helped me narrow down what I really needed/wanted. The process was challenging for many other reasons, but we both worked incredibly hard and together very well with an amazing team on our side, and at the end, I got my dream house in just a matter of weeks after finding it. I’ll never forget how relentless he was when fighting for me to make sure I was always treated fairly and felt content with my purchase. Thank you for everything you’ve done, Steven.

I recently bought my first home in an extremely competitive market, and Steve was beyond helpful! He was never pushy, and was consistently responsive to my many texts. Buying in late 2020 was challenging because of the extreme seller's market, but Steve helped me find the perfect home, and ended up getting my offer accepted despite the fact that the seller had received offers higher than mine. I could not have been happier to have had his knowledge, expertise, and assistance throughout this entire process!

Before i met steven, i was seriously considering living in my parents basement for the rest of my life due to lazy and incompetent real estate agents. After spending about 6 hours with him i realized he's one of the kindest & gentlest men alive on the planet. Not to mention he has the face of an angel. Steven and his team were not only expotentially helpful in the home searching process, but throughout the entire transaction. At one point the seller wanted to back out due to FHA painting requirements that could not be fulfilled. Steven (much like superman) was their to save the day! Mr houghtaling actually went above and beyond to contact the seller personally and make plans to go to home depot to grab supplies and go to the property himself and do the work (which he did)... The deal was saved and the house was closed on the same month... Moral of the story is please do not sell yourself short, Don't settle for anything but the best, call mr. Houghtaling and let him find you that dream home you always wanted... PS. This is a true story...

Steven was relentless in finding the "right" place for me. He knew teh neighborhoods, he understood our requirements, he stayed late at night to facilitate offers, and generally, worked very hard to find our ideal place. He did not stop there. He recommended the right lawyer, he hooked us up with the best funding organization, and when we needed to close 3 weeks less than normal, he pushed accordingly and made things happen. I would recommend Steven to anyone, for all their real estate needs.
