Mr. Raffaelli is the best in the business, and in my opinion it isn’t close. He knows the market, knows the levers to pull (and not to pull) in offers and negotiations. He isn’t in a rush, nor does he try to talk his clients into anything. He listens, wants to understand his clients wants and needs, and simply takes the time to ask “are you happy with this direction?”. That goes a long way. I will never use a different realtor in DC.
Stephen kept us informed. He communicated just enough. He took time to ensure the house was ready for potential buyers each visit. He helped with developing a counter offer by providing pros and cons to our initial reaction. I cannot thank Stephen enough for his professionalism, patience, knowledge, and executing his plan to sell our house.

These connections were important to us especially when there is a time frame to get your home on the market. I started working with Stephen Raffaelli in 2016- we were in immediate need to sell my brother's home that he owned with friends. This was no easy task & he did not shy away- he knew exactly what was needed to do and had it sold in DAYS =) a year later I tasked him with selling my parents home which was in a very secluded location where we had no success trying to sell a few years before. He took the job and didn't even think twice!! He came out on multiple occasions even though it was hours away from his home and had the property under contract within a week! He even went above and beyond to help my parents find the perfect home to move into and recommended the best contractors to tweak the home and make it exactly what my parents needed. Steve is already an incredible realtor; friendly, patient, thorough, thoughtful, and professional... but he really turns into a Superhero during the contract & closing phase. I would not be a happy homeowner now if he had not gone to bat for me during that process--he did not come to play, he came to WIN, and he knocked it out of the park!!!
