My background in the housing industry started in college. I put myself through school working as a union trained carpenter in the summers. After college, I continued to work as a carpenter for a couple of years. Then in 1991, I made the move to Chicago and decided to start selling them, instead of building them.
My primary focus and marketplace are the diverse neighborhoods of the city, but I have also helped many families make the move to several of the surrounding suburbs, from as far north as Lake Forest and everything in between and out towards the western suburbs to Geneva.
Small multi-family properties is also a focus of mine. I do own and manage several rental properties. I find this to be a very stable, and financially rewarding investment over time.
Because of my construction knowledge I have also worked successfully with contractors and rehabbers interested in rebuilding some of the many beautiful properties here in Chicago.
