We sold our home using Flat Fee realty and Excel Title. They were incredibly easy to use and saved me a ton of money in realtor expenses. I used the option that allowed for appointments to be made through the company and I am glad that I did as it made things very simple. I would simply get a notice that someone wanted to see the home on a certain day and time and the information of the realtor showing it. I would select yes or no and that was it. I put a key in a lockbox on the windowsill so that I wasn't even at the home when it was showed. I did have a few questions at the beginning of this process, about when to lower the price and if I could contact the realtors, and these were nicely and quickly answered when I called Flat Fee Realty. They do not do the follow up after a showing as they only list the property and book appointments, so I would suggest texting the realtor who did the showing afterward to touch base and see if their client had any follow up question. I received a lot of great information on the home this way. Note: The realtor will not realize you are the home owner unless you tell them as the home was listed online through a realty company. Once we sold the property, the paperwork went to excel realty and they basically handled everything. Communication and any paperwork they need is done online through a private portal. They will answer the phone but prefer the online email - and they did answer very quickly if I had a question. Signing the final documents at the end was also easy - Excel Title asked for a time and location that I would prefer and sent a mobile notary there to meet me. I was a little nervous about selling my home without a realtor but they made it super easy. Would definitely use them again in the future.
