Sell Complete

Pros: Our realtor was very responsive. Our home was sold for asking price. We were able to reach a deal when it came to “staging” our home. Cons: -Felt pressured to stage the home. The quoted price for professionally staging the home was more than what we anticipated and we did not want to move forward. We were told we were making a mistake. - There were deck repairs that needed to be done per the inspection report. Our HOA covers deck maintenance. The HOA took care of immediate needs and indicated the rest would be addressed in appropriate order (there were roof repairs/siding repairs being done in the community first). Our realtor mentioned several times that we need to prepare ourselves to financially compensate our buyers for deck repairs. This caused a great deal of anxiety, especially since the HOA maintains the decks, not the owner. -After the appraisal came in, our realtor said she was surprised it came in at offer/listing price.

Mixed Feelings

We were looking for a home for about 4 months before we found a home we put in an offer that led to purchasing a home. In the process we looked at many homes. Pros: Realtor was very responsive and most of the time friendly. Cons: Felt immense pressure when we did not want to put in offers until we found home that would work for us. I personally was singled out during these discussions because I found things that prevented me from moving forward with that home. -being showed a home well beyond our max budget. It did have a nice feature but still the price point + it was in need of a lot of repairs. -it was often suggested to strengthen our offers to waive inspection and financing contingencies. -after an inspection occurred on a home we had an offer on, the found issues were downplayed after a private conversation happened between realtor and inspector. -felt misguided with our current purchase pricing (over 6% over asking price + waived inspection). A mistake that could have possibly saved us thousands we are now having to spend for repairs/replacements. -terrible communication breakdown between our agent and the sellers/sellers agent. -closing should have been delayed but wasn’t. Didn’t find out sellers hadn’t fully moved out until we were already signing closing documents.

Truly amazing

Stephanie was amazing to work with and was very helpful with finding homes that were in our budget. She was always upfront and honest with us about the homes we looked at and gave us her opinion as to what she thought about the homes if it was right or not for what we were needing

Fantastic!

Stephanie made us feel like her only client. She was quick to respond at every turn. Closing did not go smoothly (no fault of hers) and she kept us calm during the whole process. She got to know what we liked very quickly and advocated for us when we finally did find a property in this crazy market. Her knowledgeof the area was spot on.
